We are delighted to announce that our parent company and in-house caterer Green & Fortune scooped the gold award in the ‘Caterer of the Year’ category at this year’s London Venue and Catering Awards. This accolade follows two wins at the Foodservice Cateys in October, where Green & Fortune were crowned both ‘Boutique Caterer of the Year’ as well as ‘Event Caterer of the Year’.
At the London Venue and Catering Awards, Rose Court Events also brought home a silver award for ‘Best New or Refurbished Venue’. Rose Court Events fought off stiff competition with no less than eight venues shortlisted for this category in total.
The Caterer of the Year win is company-wide and recognises excellence in operations and delivery at all Green & Fortune venues, including Rose Court Events. The judges commented “This was a large team, with a diverse and organised operation and a strong innovation for good. They were client-centric with a lovely company ethos and great delivery. They seemed to have moved into the mainstream without losing any of their entrepreneurial and qualitative flair that set them apart from the competition from the start.”
The Foodservice Cateys judges called Green & Fortune unique and brilliant, and recognised a nimble and reactive approach to clients, impressive ESG commitments and also commended their sensitive approach to supporting staff with the cost of living crisis. In regard to the Event Caterer of the Year category, judges were impressed by the expertise shown in delivering outstanding events and commented that Green & Fortune maximised our multi-venue offerings to attract a range of clients while also supporting an array of industry charities.
Alongside these wins, Rose Court Events was also shortlisted for ‘Best Venue with a View’ and ‘Best Venue with Outside Space’. Our sister site Sea Containers Events was also shortlisted for ‘Best Summer Party Venue’.
